Brickell was settled as a community in the mid-nineteenth century and quickly became known as an affluent Miami neighborhood by the early twentieth century. Towards the latter part of the century, office towers, hotels, and high-rise apartment buildings began to change the city skyline quickly making it one of Miami’s most densely populated neighborhoods. The neighborhood is known for its international banks, businesses, chic restaurants, and luxury condominiums where space has become a premium.

Brickell is a clean and sophisticated neighborhood that includes some of the most beautiful condominium buildings in Miami. Brickell’s walkable street grid system features the Brickell City Centre, which is a $1B+ green project that includes high-end shopping, restaurants, hotels, and tech start-ups. Brickell City Centre, when finished, will span up to five blocks to west and south Brickell. South of Brickell City Centre you will find Mary Brickell Village which is another great outdoor shopping plaza with an assortment of restaurants and boutiques. East Brickell boasts stunning Biscayne Bay views and on Brickell Key you will find beautiful shoreline pathways with avid runners. With its fast growing international population, Brickell has become one of the leading international banking and business capitals in the South East. With Brickell’s centralized position you can get to neighboring areas of Miami within a ten-fifteen minute drive.

What not to expect
You won’t find beach access in Brickell. While there are plenty of stunning bay views from the area, beach access will need to be reached elsewhere.

Brickell has an active and entrepreneurial population. It has become one of the most densely populated areas of Miami giving it a metropolitan feel and character. In Brickell, condominium buildings take precedence within its urban environment. New mid-priced level buildings are not being delivered while a few ultra-high end residences are being built. This will help those with current inventory to appreciate at a rapid pace. On South Miami Avenue you will find a small area of single-family homes.
