Discussions at the latest Linene Woods annual meeting included possible ways to make our neighborhood safer and more desireable. The Board has responded by adding new signs focused on our children and others working or playing outside. They aren't all up yet, but will be soon. These new signs ask drivers to slow down and watch for children, and to control and pick up after their pets. Please spread the word to your friends, neighbors, and visitors: let's keep Linene Woods a great place for all of us.

Spring Fling Rescheduled!    
Our neighborhood get-together is now scheduled for Sunday April 21, from 3 to 5 p.m. Please put it on your calendar. The Association will provide the paper goods, utensils and water, and we're asking those who come to bring your favorite dish or snack. Also bring folding chairs. Donations will be accepted to defray the cost. We'll gather at 403 Castleton Circle, hosted by Steve and Kim Pisano. Kim is coordinating the get-together. Look forward to seeing you there.

Covenants & Restrictions FAQs Updated    
The Covenants and Restrictions (C&Rs) themselves haven't changed, but our Frequently Asked Questions have been updated. No surprises; the updates mostly reflect changes related to Leon County's assumption of our road maintenance. Both the C&Rs and the FAQs are in the Guide to the C&Rs.

February 21 Board Meeting    
The LWHA Board of Directors held a meeting on February 21, and discussed several matters of great interest to us all. For the details, see the minutes here or on the Board page.

2013 Annual Meeting on January 24    
The Linene Woods Homeowners Association Annual Meeting was held at the FSU Credit Union on Sharer Road at 7 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2013. Documents related to the meeting, including the official minutes, are available on the Meetings page. See also: the revised Board of Directors page.

Doggy Doos and Don'ts    
There seems to be an increasing amount of dog poop left on and near some of our streets. This is inconsiderate, illegal, unhealthy, and polluting. If you see people failing to clean up after their dogs, please remind them to do so. For more information, see this web page by Gordon Morgan on Locksley Lane. Thank you.

Our covenants have requirements to keep our neighborhood consistently peaceful, beautiful, and valuable. See the Rules section for details, and the Committees section for links to Forms to request particular actions.

If you get an error message when going to one of the LWHA pages, or if the page seems to be old or outdated, the first thing to do is "refresh" the page: click on the circular arrow at the top of your screen (next to the Back arrow and Forward arrow) that looks like it is chasing its own tail. Or, if you like using the Windows Function keys, press F5. If you still have a problem, contact Gordon at the email address at the bottom of this page.

Helpful Info

Light out? Street lights that are not working are a nuisance and a safety hazard. If you see a street light out, please feel free to report it directly to the city. Just call 891-4968 and give the street address nearest the light that is not working. This could be "to the right or left" of the address or the address "across from" the light. Please ask the city rep for a work order number. If you pass this number along to Jim Mann, head of the Maintenance Committee, he will follow up and make sure the problem is corrected. This usually takes 2-5 work days.

Hazardous waste in your house? Leon County has a place to take it, out on Apalachee Parkway. Go to Hazardous Waste Center to learn more about it.
